Alumni Global Search, S.L. may act, in certain cases, as a joint controller, for example in relation to talent-pool community managers that contract its services. Such cases will be disclosed in the corresponding information clause.
For what purpose does Alumni Global Search S.L. process user personal data?
At Alumni Global Search S.L., we process your personal data with full compliance with applicable data protection regulations, for the following purposes:
- For registered candidates: managing their registration in beWanted and the functionalities enabled for them; managing their participation in selection processes created by companies and, where applicable, registered community managers; and assessing their employability.
- If authorized via the registration form, sending information of interest related to beWanted and to selection processes matching their profile. This consent can be withdrawn at any time.
- For registered companies: managing their registration and associated functionalities, and enabling the creation and management of selection processes.
- To manage our communications more efficiently we use Sendgrid, a platform developed by Twilio Inc., which involves tracking devices to monitor email opens and link clicks.
- Managing inquiries, complaints, suggestions, claims and requests made by interested parties.
We will limit the processing of your personal data to the purposes mentioned, and no automated decisions will be made based on your profile.
How long will we keep your personal data?
For registered candidates and companies, we process personal data until they decide to unsubscribe, which they can do in their private area. Afterwards, we retain data only for the periods necessary to comply with legal obligations.
For inquiries, complaints, suggestions or requests, we process data for as long as necessary to resolve them and, once resolved, for the time necessary to comply with legal requirements.
What is the legal basis for processing user personal data?
For registered candidates and companies, the legal basis is the consent provided upon registering in beWanted.
For sending information of interest, the legal basis is the consent given by checking the box on the registration form. This consent can be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.
To which recipients will user personal data be communicated?
Candidate data contained in their profile will be communicated to registered companies in beWanted interested in it. If the company belongs to a talent community manager, their data will also be communicated to that manager to manage the relevant selection processes.
Company data will be communicated to candidates interested in their offers, and, where applicable, to the relevant community manager.
We otherwise only disclose personal data when legally required to do so. As mentioned, we use Sendgrid (Twilio Inc.) as a data processor, with adequate safeguards under Article 46.2(c) GDPR for any international transfer involved.
What rights do users have as data subjects?
You may exercise the rights of access, rectification, restriction of processing, erasure, objection, and data portability, either on your own behalf or through a representative.
To exercise these rights, contact us at dpo@bewanted.com with the subject "Data Protection Rights", or by postal mail to Alumni Global Search S.L. at calle Castelló, nº 82-6º Izq., C.P. 28006 Madrid, specifying which right you wish to exercise and including a copy of your ID.
We will respond within a maximum of 30 days from receiving your request. If unsatisfied, you may contact the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
How did we obtain your personal data?
The personal data we process has been collected from the forms you submit to us, or through the email address provided for contacting us.
The categories of data processed include: identifying data, personal characteristics, social circumstances, academic and professional data, employment details, employability, website (for companies) and credit card (for companies, for payment of services).
We do not process data classified by the GDPR as "special categories of data" (health, religion, ideology, trade union membership, etc.), except for disability percentage when a candidate voluntarily chooses to provide it.
Which body can you file a complaint with regarding data protection?
You can file a complaint regarding data protection with the Spanish Data Protection Agency. All information is available at aepd.es.
